In February 2005, Dragon Orchard took the positive step of planting a new orchard of over 200 trees.  We wanted to create an interesting amenity orchard with diverse varieties of fruit trees which included some traditional and some new varieties of apples, pears, Mirabelle plums, greengage and quince.  It has been named "Dorothy's Orchard" and has an interesting layout with alleyways and a place to sit, contemplate and appreciate the environment.

You can Sponsor A Tree as a gift to celebrate a memorable event, a birthday or an anniversary, or to commemorate a loved one … or just because you love fruit trees and orchards.

Dorothy's Orchard is now well established and the trees are bearing fruit.  There are 2 options for sponsorship, which both include a visit to the orchard and one has the opportunity of collecting some fruit from the orchard in the autumn.
